- Dialogue content (the responses you give during the talent-discovery conversation)
- Language preference (English or Chinese)
- Coupon codes (if you apply one)
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and approximate location (derived from IP)
- A session token stored in your browser's local storage to keep your conversation continuous
- Basic server logs (timestamp, requested path, status code) for security and debugging
Payment information: When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy collects your payment information directly. We receive only the order ID, status, the email you used at checkout, and tax-relevant location data — never your full payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate your AI talent report
- To deliver the report by email if you request it
- To validate coupon codes and process orders
- To improve our prompts, conversation flow, and report quality (in aggregate, anonymized form)
- To respond to support requests
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services and International Data Transfers
To deliver the Service, we share specific data with the following processors. Important: the Service uses AI models hosted in mainland China, which means dialogue content is transferred to servers located in China for processing. By using the Service, you explicitly consent to this cross-border transfer.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or any other third party.
4. Data Retention
- Dialogue content and reports: retained for 12 months after generation, then deleted (unless you request earlier deletion)
- Order records: retained for 5 years to meet tax and accounting obligations
- Server logs: retained for 30 days for security and debugging
- Email address: retained for as long as needed to deliver and re-deliver your report (removable on request)
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

6. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We use:
- Browser local storage to remember your language preference and session token
- Server-set cookies only as required for session continuity
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact contact@askmeo.fun and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use HTTPS (TLS) for all data in transit and standard server-side hardening for data at rest. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice on the Service.
